We need your help to make next year one of the best school years for our children!! Please take a minute to read about the NVHS PTSA Committees that will be formed for next school year and come on board as a volunteer!
These committees need volunteers: download a form below to volunteer or sign up online (coming soon for 2016-17)
Daddy/Daughter Dance – In February assist with preparations for and working at the Dance.
Graduation Breakfast – In May assist with serving a continental breakfast to graduating seniors.
Mother/Daughter Tea – In March assist with preparing for and working at the Tea.
Mother/Son Brunch – In February, assist with preparing for and working at the Brunch.
Reflections – In fall for several days assist in publicizing, collecting and submitting students’ entries in this National PTA arts contest.
Restaurant Nights - throughout the year, help with setting up and publicizing fundraiser nights at restaurants, or manning sales for Bundt cakes, gift cards, etc.
Scholarship – In March during 1 school day, read and evaluate NVHS students’ entries for PTSA scholarships.
Senior Spectacular – In late winter/early spring assist with planning and organizing activities involved in this fun April event for seniors at NVHS. (NOT sponsored by PTSA. PTSA assists in obtaining volunteers.)
Senior Yard Signs – In May (weekend before prom), assist with preparation of and placement of “Congratulations” signs in each graduating senior’s front yard.
Staff Appreciation – Assist with the events that PTSA hosts for NVHS teachers/staff.
Valley Runway Project - (tentative) assist with collection and distribution of used prom dresses to students in need.
Webmaster - All year, update and maintain the website with current information. No HTML needed.
I can help wherever you need me! (One day volunteers to sell, staff, set up, clean up, etc.)
