We need your help to make next year one of the best school years for our children!! Please take a minute to read about the NVHS PTSA Committees that will be formed for next school year and come on board as a volunteer! Contact Minnie Kumar at [630] 904-3399 or minnie.kumar@yahoo.com for questions.
These committees need volunteers: download a form below to volunteer.
- Daddy/Daughter Dance – In January assist with preparations for dance.
- Graduation Roses – In April assist with preparing the roses that are given to NVHS graduates.
- Greeter– Freshman (Gold) Campus – Throughout the school year during lunch periods work in the rotunda of the freshman center as a greeter.
- Health & Safety -Throughout the school year assist with health, safety & wellness events.
- Main Building Volunteer – Throughout the school year during the day assist in the Library (LMC) , Main Office, or Athletic Office
- Market Day – Throughout the school year once a month assist after school in unloading the truck and ensuring purchases are correctly picked up by customers.
- Mother/Daughter Tea – In March assist with activities.
- Mother/Son Brunch – In January, assist with activities.
- Parent Education – Assist with parent education programs
- Reflections – In fall for several days assist in publicizing, collecting and submitting students’ entries in this National PTA arts contest.
- Scholarship – In April during 1 school day, read and evaluate NVHS students’ entries for PTSA scholarships.
- Senior Spectacular – In late winter/early spring assist with planning and organizing activities involved in this fun April event for seniors NVHS. (NOT sponsored by PTSA. PTSA assists in obtaining volunteers.)
- Senior Yard Signs – In May (weekend before graduation), assist with preparation of and placement of “Congratulations” signs in each graduating senior’s front yard.

Staff Appreciation – Assist with the events that PTSA hosts for NVHS teachers/staff.
Student Directory – In October/November during the school day for 1 day assist with counting out and distributing the Student Directories to class houses.
